In North we are working in Delhi & NCR, Punjab and Chandigarh. We started with setting-up of Maths Lab for schools. This was done to fulfil the mandate of CBSE (govt board in charge of school affiliation). Soon we realised that lab is just an addition to the infrastructure of school.
In order to impact the learning outcome, we need to get it implemented. Gradually we developed a pool of trained professionals. Now these trainers build the capacity of teachers who implement the program. Now we also do parent session where we discuss about learning development and how experiential learning is crucial for child’s development.
We run our program in government schools of Department of Education (DOE), Delhi Government. Impact has been phenomenal. Last year there was average improvement of 26%. The improvement was based on baseline and end line assessment conducted by Vikalp Assessment and Evaluation system (VANES).
