Table kit uses the existing knowledge of children to teach new concept. If a child knows addition, and h/she does it repeated times it becomes multiplication. Similarly, If a child knows subtraction, and does it repeated times it becomes division. Consequently, Table kit helps children to transition from addition to multiplication and subtraction to division. This criss-cross placement of sticks on square board enables children to understand and not “rote memorise” the tables or multiplication!
Besides, the square board, there is a circular board. Sticks attached to the front side of the circular board is used for reading clock. The opposite side of the board is used to explain different types of angles ie. complementary, suplementary.
