Ever wondered your kid to be a computer science wiz. This is an opportunity for you. This course is for school-going-children, who love to explore how things work behind everything on a computer. This course is for kids who want to understand simple language fundamentals behind computers, games, websites and the internet. Kids will learn easily to understand language concepts like the internet, programming languages, compiles, databases and how to create a simple website using HTML and CSS. At the end of the course, one should be able to understand the working of a website end to end – all the way from browser to server to databases. Several programming languages will be taught. This course will teach basics of HTML, MySQL, JavaScript, C and Python.

What kind of technical setup will my child need at home?

Our courses require: 

  1. A desktop or laptop computer that runs Windows or Mac OS, with a working microphone, speaker, and webcam.
  2. The Chrome browser and Zoom Client must be installed.
  3. A high-speed internet connection (at least 10 Mbps). We also strongly recommend headphones to help your child to concentrate, and be immersed in the virtual classroom.
My child is in Grade 5. But he has no exposure to computers. Can he opt for a Beginners course?

This course is specifically tailored for the classes mentioned. Nonetheless, students of higher grades can opt for the lower grade course. It depends on the learning level of the students. You can check the curriculum and make the right selection.

Can I take Computer science as a subject in my 10th and 12th Board?

Yes, you can take Computer science as a subject for your board examination. Computer science for high school can help you in preparing you for the 10th board Examination.

Will computer marks be added in the CBSE class 10 Board Exam?

Earlier, there were 5 subjects: - two languages, science, math, social science. But now there are 6 subjects. It also includes additional subjects (Computer or Music). Students have a choice to take one of them. In computer science there are many codes. But 402 code is the only code which is added in marks. It will add by replacing the lowest marks, but it does not replace subjects (English and Hindi). Because these are languages and it is compulsory to pass them.
