NIOS Class 11 offers the Senior Secondary Program. It follows the National Curriculum Framework 2023. NIOS operates through more than 7400 Study Centers spread all over India and abroad. It also has study centers for Indian expatriates in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Nepal, Canada, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and the United States of America.

Is NIOS harder than CBSE?
NIOS and CBSE are equal according to the syllabus and eligibility. NIOS and CBSE both have their own advantages and disadvantages. It is one of the three central boards- ICSE, CBSE, NIOS. NIOS offers better flexibility for those students who do not wish to pursue regular classes or opt out of certain subjects.
Is the NIOS board easy to pass?
A: Students can clear the NIOS exam with a lot of ease if you are familiar with the pattern of NIOS. They can also understand the difficulty level of questions with the help of previous year papers. And the study hours will have a direct impact on the NIOS result.

Do all colleges accept NIOS?
Yes, almost every college recognizes the NIOS Certificate for admission. The NIOS student can go to regular college after completing senior secondary (12th grade). The ministry of education as well as the UGC recognize the NIOS board.
Is it easy to score 75% in NIOS?
So make use of this chance and prepare well for JEE MAIN 2024. NIOS score is accepted in most institutes like IIT, IIM and government colleges. IT is not very tough to score 75%+ on the NIOS board.

NIOS SUBJECT CHOICES & EXAM SCHEME
In NIOS Curriculum for Senior Secondary (Class 11th and 12th), Vikalp offers a total of five compulsory subjects including one or two languages. Subjects are divided into 6 groups: Group A, B, C, D, E and F.
Students can choose any five Subjects with either one or two languages from Group A and the remaining subjects from Group B, C, D, E and F. He/she can take more than one subject from Group A and B. However, there is a limitation: Only one Subject from each group C, D, E and F can be opted.
If a student wants to take more than 5 subjects. He/she can take additional two subjects from any Group with additional fees. However, this also has the same limitation: only one Subject from each group C, D, E and F can be opted.
